College Research - Part Two

In our last project, you were assigned a university from the California public university system to research and present to the class.  Now, its time for you to explore, research and create a presentation on a college of your choice*.  These presentations will be shared with your peers via website, and small groups will review each other's presentations.  You will not be presenting these in front of the MEC class.  Students may work individually or in partners.

What to Do
  1. Go to the college board website to begin your search.
  2. Create a presentation.  Use this template to create your slideshow.
  3. Share the link to your presentation by completing the form below
To use the template, you must be logged into Google.  Click on the link above.  Then, with the template open, click on "File" then "Make a copy".  Rename your presentation to indicate your school.  Share it with your partner so you can work on it together.

*Remember what you learned from Ms. Garcia's talk about private universities, some of which may have more flexible admissions policies as well as generous financial aid packages that make these options just as affordable as public universities for many students.   Consider all options.
